Description
The car manufacturer PSA Peugeot-Citroën announced the creation of 350 positions in its plant of La Janais, near Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) until December 2018. These new positions have been created as a result of the increase in sales of the car maker's new SUV model 5008. 50 employees will be recruited on permanent temporary contract (CDI intérim) and 10 with a permanent employment contract (CDI). All other will be recruited on short-term contract of over 6 months as it is usual in this industry. They will be recruited to create a fourth team of workers that will work on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The car manufacturer has already announced the creation of 600 positions in its plant of La Janais in 2017.
The plant currently employs 2,200 people and 800 temporary workers.
