Swedish furniture manufacturer IKEA Industry has announced it will create 280 new jobs at its production facility in Zbąszynek. Within the investment, a new production hall and a warehouse will be built which will allow doubling production capacity of the facility and streamlining logistics processes. The hall is expected to be operational in June 2018, and IKEA Industry has already started recruiting new employees. The facility in Zbąszynek is currently the biggest production site of IKEA worldwide. The company employs 3,000 people in the city. The facility specializes in production of cellular panel furniture. In Poland, IKEA Industry employs nearly 10,000 people at 16 production sites in 13 locations.
