Polish construction company Budimex has announced that it will create 1,000 new jobs in 2018. The company will mainly look for blue-collar workers and it is expected that up to 50% of new positions will be created for employees coming from abroad. The aim of the restructuring programme is to prevent future problems caused by limited supply of qualified staff which is already affecting the Polish construction industry. The company's need to increase its employment capacity is associated with recently signed railway and road construction contracts. Since January 2017 Budimex has created almost 550 new jobs and currently it employs 6,540 employees.
