Automotive parts producer Valeo is expanding its Prague R&D centre with an investment of CZK 125 million (EUR 4.8 million) and creating 250 new jobs by March 2018. The new experts will be working on safety and assistance systems for autonomous cars. The French company Valeo has been operating in the Czech Republic since 1995 and is one of the most important employers in the automotive industry with almost 4,000 staff. Globally Valeo operates 122 factories and 50 centres, employing a total of 79,500 people in 29 countries.
