Description
Grounded 256 years ago, the company Griset will close its doors. The last French copper rolling factory was placed into "judicial liquidation with recovery operations" in mid-December, after having been refused a loan of €1.5 million by banks, despite the support of public investment bank BPI. On 15 January, the Commercial court of Nanterre has refused the take over proposal of the Chinese group Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Holding Co. This decision leads to the closure of the plant with the dismissal of its 117 last employees.
