Description
Electronics manufacturer, Strömfors Electric, is closing its plant in Loviisa, Finland and will be moving its production abroad. Strömfors Electric belongs to multinational Schneider-Electric Group and the workers were offered positions at Schneider's plants in Denmark and Poland, an offer than only one of the 207 workers at Strömfors accepted.
Schneider Electric employs 170,000 people in more than 100 countries.
