European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
A partnership between the municipality of Castelo Branco and the Portugal Telecom (a Portuguese global telecommunications operator) will open a new customer call centre and create 150 jobs until the end of the year. This new Centre consolidates the investment that PT has been doing over the years in the countryside. The municipality invested €1,5 million in this new centre.
