Description
Software supplier Be Informed has announced the loss of 180 jobs in Apeldoorn after it was declared bankrupt in January 2014. According to the source, the company is hoping that a restart will be possible with new investors.
Update 28-02-2014: Be Informed has been bought by a group of private investors, saving 40 jobs. These 40 jobs will be in the area of software development. According to the source, 140 jobs will still be cut, mostly in the area of sales. The source reports some of the former employees of Be Informed may be transferred to former clients of the company. It is possible that between 60 to 80 employees will be employed by companies such as Accenture and CGI.
