Description

Italian supplier of electrical automotive parts, Magneti Marelli, expands its business in Kechnec nearby Kosice, where 617 jobs are to be created.

According to the company’s spokesperson, the expansion is attributed to the production of new high-tech components for significant car producers like Volkswagen, Peugeot-Citroen, Renault and Fiat.

In 2007, the ERM reported on the opening of the plant in Kechnec.
