Description
Lahden Autokori, a manufacturer of coachwork, has filed for bankruptcy and announced the dismissal of its entire staff of about 200 employees. The company has been producing coachwork for Scania, which is no longer planning to outsource the coachwork. Lahden Autokori reports debts of around EUR 10 million and sees no possibility of replacing Scania production with other contracts. The manufacturing activity for Scania will cease in 10 months.
