European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 27 June 2013, R&D company Renesas Design France announced the closure of its site near Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) and the dismissal of its 174 employees and 45 subcontractors. This decision was taken in the frame of a worldwide restructuring launched by the Japanese owned group’s (Renesas Electronics). A social plan will be presented by the end of June.
