Description
As reported on October 09, 2012, German drug store chain took on 2,000 former employees of the insolvent drug store chain Schlecker (see here) and its subsidiary IhrPlatz (see here).
Most of them come from 100 IhrPlatz branches that Rossmann took over. Additionally, Rossmann took over all IhrPlatz apprentices, including those which are not from the branches mentioned above, and some former employees of Schlecker.
In total, Rossmann now employs 23,000 people in Germany.
