Description
On 5 October 2012, the chemical company BASF announced its intention to cut around 400 jobs worldwide. 70 jobs will be cut in Germany. The company stated that this was part of plans to restructure its construction chemicals division.
BASF employs around 7,000 people within its construction chemicals division. BASF aims to offer the employees other positions within the BASF Group wherever possible.
