Description
MCB, Dutch metals and metal products wholesaler, announced that it will cut 100 jobs, out of a total of 900. About half of the jobs are permanent contracts, the other half temporary roles.
Background is a sharp fall in demand for the firm's products. Earlier in 2012, 50 jobs have been made redundant, while in 2009 MCB underwent restructuring in Belgium and closed its sales offices in Easter Europe.
