European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
German furniture producer ImolaGroup decided to expand its business to Slovakia creating 150 jobs. The company invests about €0.45 million to build a new plant for upholstery cover production in Tornala.
According to the chair of the local municipality, Lajos Balajti, the company decided for Tornala because it found the qualified labor force in the region. In April 2012, 150 new jobs will be created there.
