Description
German wood processor Rettenmeier is closing its production sites in Gaildorf (Germany) and Polomka (Slovakia), which will affect 250 employees.
Rettenmeier processes and refines solid wood products. The company faces comprehensive restructuring. Apart from the closure of the two production facilities, other plants in Germany (Gaildorf, Hirschberg and Wilburgstetten) and Slovakia (Tatra) might be affected. Over the next years, the company claims to re-focus on its core activities and to give up non-core activities.
