European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Slovenska televizia RTVS will dismiss about 285 employees, of which 85 are managers, by the end of 2011. Dismissals are attributed to internal restructuring, which follows after the merger of Slovak Radio and Slovak TV companies. The merger was proposed by the government to reduce the sustaining debt of the Slovak TV and rescue it from bankruptcy.
