European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Doprastav Company, a Slovak construction company, is to dismiss 750 workers by the end of 2010. Initially, the management planned to dismiss up to 1000 workers. According to the company's CEO, Dušan Šamudovký, redundancies are caused by delays in roadworks on highway D1 between Martin and Prešov.
