European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Pamco, based in Pontchardon, is to be closed, with a consequent loss of 223 jobs. The closure follows the decision of a court to reject the acquisition offer of a local foundry Focast. The company has been under receivership since January 28.
Pamco specializes in casting iron for the car industry. In March 2007 the company was acquired by a workers' cooperative association.
