European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Danish medical instrument producer Unomedical has announced that 240 out of 866 employees are to be made redundant in its Michalovce production plant. Dismissals will take place from May to December 2009. Redundancies are caused by planned substantial restructuring of Unomedical production and commercial units in Europe. Delocalisation of all production activities from Denmark to Slovakia is foreseen.
