Villeroy&Boch, one of the main ceramics manufacturers in the world, is to cut 900 jobs worldwide.
In particular, the corporate reorganisation plan envisages 400 job-cuts in Germany and the closure of the Italian plant located at Castelraimondo (in the Marche region), with the consequent loss of 41 jobs. According to the company, the reorganisation is mainly due to the recent drop in demand.
