European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Adamów brown coal mine (Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego "Adamów") plans to create 5,000 workers with the development of a new strip mine in Zgierz. The company said that this new facility will cover an area of 1,600 hectares and that its deposits will be mined over the coming 35 years. The date of the strip mine's activation was not announced.
