Description
The Swedish construction and property development company NCC is cutting 300 jobs in Finland. The job losses are attributed to the financial crisis and the recession which has considerably weakened the housing market. According to NCC, the company is cutting 100 clerical jobs and some 200 other jobs.
Negotiations with trade unions are expected to be finished by the end of the year 2008 and restructuring measures are to be implemented in the first half of 2009.
NCC employs some 3,000 workers in Finland.
