Description
Pfizer, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies, is to cut 556 jobs in its Italian sites. The job-losses are part of a wide reorganisation plan which will mainly affect the sales, marketing and distribution area.
Pfizer has around 85,000 employees worldwide. In Italy, it has two administrative sites (located in Milan and Rome), and industrial sites at Latina (Lazio), Ascoli Piceno (Marche) and Pisticci (in the province of Matera), with a total workforce of around 3,000 employees.
