Description
Johns Manville Slovakia, a producer of glass fibres, has announced the collective dismissals of 260 employees at its plant in Trnava. According to the company, the job losses are due to the global economic crisis and the fall in sales of products supplied to the automotive and construction industry. The restructuring plan, which was announced on 2 December 2008, will be implemented from February to March 2009.
