Description
Stampal, an aluminium forging company, is to cut 120 jobs with the closure of its plant located at Borgaro, in the province of Turin. The trade unions reacted to the company decision by going on strike; moreover, they intend to involve the national and local authorities in order to avoid the redundancies and find some entrepreneurs who are interested in buying the plant. Stampal produces aluminium components for the car industry. It works for a wide range of customers, such as Fiat, Ferrari, Magneti Marelli and McLaren.
