Description
Cyprian Disor Holding, which became the new owner of Slovak Novacke chemicke zavody (NCHZ), announced that about 160 employees will be dismissed during 2009. Current technology in the production of polyvinylchloride is considered environmentally obsolete and mainly workers in this production unit will be hit by redundancies. NCHZ is the biggest company in the region with about 5.5% unemployment rate. NCHZ is also the biggest Slovak exporter of chemical products and it belongs to 25 biggest companies in Slovakia in terms of production volume.
