Description
American multinational Crown Holdings are to establish a subsidiary at the Kechnec industrial park near Košice. The company, Crown Bevcan, will create 200 new jobs and produce aluminium cans. The greenfield investment will cost about €40 million and employment in the new production plant is planned to start in June 2009. In total of 775 million aluminium cans for alcoholic and soft drinks will be produced annually at the plant.Company management announced that the production actually started in April 2010 but just 100 new jobs were created there.
