European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Spanish car parts manufacturer, F Segura, is to build a 100,000 square meter car parts manufacturing plant in Szolnok (Central Hungary) with a €20 million investment. Production is expected to begin in 2009 and 150 new jobs will be created by the end of 2010. The factory will supply parts to Ford, VW, Seat, Audi, and Volvo, and will concentrate on R&D activities. F Segura expands in CEE to cut transportation costs, since its activities are mainly based in Hungary, Romania, Austria, Poland, and Germany.
