Description

Marel Food Systems, producer of high-tech equipments for food processing mainly in the fishing industry, will create 380 new jobs in the next 2-3 years at its subsidiary at the Nitra Sever industrial park. According to the President of the Icelandic company, Hőrdur Armarson, Slovakia was selected because of the technical and transport infrastructure available as well as its qualified labour force. Marel Food has invested SKK 300 million into a greenfield production plant from which all products will be exported. The company currently employs 120.
