Description
On 25 April 2008, Fielmann, a German optician that operates a series of retail outlets in Germany and across Europe, has announced that it is to create 400 new jobs across Germany and the Netherlands with the opening of 30 new retail outlets. The firm currently operates 522 outlets across Germany (77 outlets across Europe), and employs 11,858 at these sites. The firm has attributed the expansion to an increased demand for its products. The new jobs are due to be created by the end of 2008.
