Description
Kompania Węglowa, Poland's largest miner group, has announced that it is to create 4000 new jobs by the end of 2008 at its coal pits in śląski region. As of 28 May 2008, the company employs 63000 workers and plans to create 6500 jobs (instead of 4000 previously announced) by the end of 2008. In the meantime 5000 people will be retiring.
Kompania Węglowa owns 16 mines in śląski region.
