Description
French machinery company Manitowoc Group decided to invest in Slovakia. Company management plans to invest around 500 million SKK in order to establish its subsidiary in Veľký Šariš. Around 400 new jobs will be created in new the plant for production of lifts. According to Manitowoc Group CEO, Philipp Cohet, production will start in the new plant in January 2008. Company management decided to invest in the region because of its long tradition in machinery industry, good geographical location and increasing development in the region.
