European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Welding Operations Services Slovakia is a Greenfield investment of French Air Liquide Welding Company. New production plant in a value of SKK 280 million has been established in 2004-5. Welding machines and battery chargers are produced there – currently around 10,000 pieces per month. In total 176 new jobs will be created in the subsidiary till the end of 2006. In 2007 a full capacity production is planned with annual sales revenue in amount of SKK 957 million. The Slovak Government will provide SKK 46.9 million state aid for the company.
