The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 3 August 2006 Microsoft Germany, the German subsidiary of the international software company, announced the creation of 200 jobs before the end of 2006 following a substantial business expansion in Germany. There is no information on the type of jobs that are going to be created.
