European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Mobis Slovakia Company, which is the main subcontractor of Kia Motors subsidiary in Slovakia, started trial production last week. The company will deliver around 40% of the components and aggregates for cars produced in Kia Motors Slovakia plant in Žilina. It is assumed that full production in Mobis Slovakia will start by the end of the year 2006 when the number of employees in the plant would be 2,000. According to the available information from the management, total number of employees would further increase up to 3,000 in 2009.
