Description
After selling its mobile phone business to taiwanese Benq - the transaction will take effect from October 1st - Siemens will cut 340 jobs at its mobile phone factory in Kamp-Lintfort until the end of September 2005. The affected employees will be taken over by a 'job creation' company for 12 months.
