Description

Up to 300 office posts are to go at Jaguar and its Ford-owned stablemate Land Rover as part of a voluntary redundancy scheme to restructure the carmakers. Employees at offices in Castle Bromwich, in Birmingham; Gaydon, in Warwickshire; Whitley, in Coventry, and Halewood, on Merseyside, are being invited to apply for redundancy. Don Hume, a spokesman for Jaguar and Land Rover, said the cuts were part of business restructuring and in line with what Ford is doing globally.
