European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
In order to strengthen its position on the Central and Eastern European market, Siegling Company has decided to establish a subsidiary in Slovakia. The final selection of city Malacky came out from competition of 15 potential locations in the region. The new plant is designed as a production centre supplying the whole region. It will produce tailor-made plastic belts for single customers. About 80-90% of production will be exported and the company management plans to gain a 20% share on the regional market.
