European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Australian Howe Leather will set up a head office for Europe and a production unit in Kosice, East Slovakia. New investment of about €1 million will produce leather seats for motor vehicles. Full production will be exported, mostly supplied to Land Rover, Audi and BMW motorcar producers. Company management expects an annual turnover of about €30 million, to be doubled before 2007.
