Slovak Telecom is the most important telecommunication company in the country. The company continuously develops its services to be competitive on the market. The company plans to open its first commercial call-centre in Prešov in October 2004. The new investment is a response to growing attractiveness of Slovakia for entrepreneurs. Slovak Telecom has two other call-centres in Košice (East Slovakia) and two in Žilina and Bytča (Central Slovakia), where 500 operators are employed.
