Description

Fonderie Pisano, an Italian iron foundry in the metal manufacturing industry, faces the potential loss of up to 100 jobs at its production facility in Fratte, Salerno (Campania), due to prolonged operational delays. The wage supplementation scheme supporting employees is due to expire on 31 October 2026, while the renewal of the plant’s Integrated Environmental Authorisation (AIA) remains on hold pending additional environmental assessments.

The case is being discussed at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), with a further meeting scheduled for 14 October 2026.
