Description
Telia, a Swedish telecommunications group, announced the reduction of 100–110 jobs in its Estonian operations, primarily within its shared technology unit, effective from early October and expected to conclude by 31 December 2026.
The restructuring is driven by rising costs and the need to adapt to changing customer demands, with automation and artificial intelligence identified as key enablers of efficiency gains. Telia Eesti has started consultations with the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund for a smooth transition.
