F-Secure, a Finnish cybersecurity firm, announced plans to reduce up to 58 roles in Finland as part of a new operating model involving up to 145 role reductions worldwide, including 87 outside Finland.
Negotiations began on 6th October 2026 and are expected to last about six weeks. The new operating model is expected to take effect on 1 January 2027.
According to the company, artificial intelligence is one of the reasons behind the restructuring as it transforms the company's work, market and the threats it combats. The restructuring aims to sharpen customer focus, accelerate AI-driven services, and deliver estimated annual cost savings of €13 million while investing in growth.
F-Secure employs nearly 600 persons worldwide, while the Finnish parent company employed 262 people in 2025.
