European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Globant, an international technology company, announced up to 150 job cuts across its Spanish operations, particualrly in Barcelona and Málaga.
Job cuts will be implemented through an Employment restructuring File (ERE) agreement with trade unions.The restructuring follows economic and organizational considerations cited by the company, aiming to align staffing levels with current business demands in Spain’s tech sector.
An agreement has been reached with employees’ representatives to define the terms and timing of the ERE negotiations, but further details are pending.
