Description
Naval Group, a French defence company, is expanding with 100 new job positions at the Lorient site.
Recently, a contract signed with Sweden for four frigates of defense and intervention will generate new jobs, including 100 immediate positions in hull trades such as carpentiers, soudeurs, and ingénieurs composites, with additional roles to follow in armament production. The expansion spans eight years until 2034, providing sustained activity for the current 1,200 employees working at Lorient.
The growth is driven by a €4,300-million deal that secures future manufacturing capacity, while concerns about potential externalisation remain unconfirmed.
In the ERM Database, Naval Group was previously mentioned regarding another recruitment campaign that will last until 2027, with 1,500 new vacancies. Naval Group 2026 - FR
