Description
ROKU Mechanik, a German precision-machining firm that supplies automotive components, announced the complete shutdown of its Unterscheidenheim production site at the end of 2026. The decision will eliminate 145 jobs.
The Bankruptcy was caused by falling orders from the global automotive industry and rising energy costs, after an unsuccessful effort to secure a new investor.
The company employed around 190 people when insolvency proceedings were initiated in February 2026. This number subsequently fell to 145.
