Description

Following Prism's acquisition of 24 former Revo hotels in Germany, up to 500 employees are reportedly being made redundant. The affected roles include administration, operational staff, and personnel with leadership responsibilities across various regions, including Leipzig.

The redundancies began following Revo's insolvency proceedings and the transition of the acquired hotels to the Sunday Hotels brand. Prism, an Indian group, states that the restructuring is necessary because the hotels were not economically sustainable in their previous form and require operational integration.

The National Union of Food, Hospitality and Services (NGG) has criticised the redundancy process, calling for greater transparency and the full involvement of works councils.

A previous internal restructuring was recorded in the ERM database in June 2026, when 450 jobs were cut at the company's Berlin headquarters Revo Hospitality 2026 - DE.

Prism employs around 5,400 people.
