Description

Haus Cramer, a German brewing company, has announced the closure of its breweries in Herford and Paderborn, affecting approximately 220 employees. Redundancies are expected to begin in September at the Herford site and in November at the Paderborn site.

The decision follows the consolidation of production in Warstein. The restructuring is classified as a closure with a partial relocation of activities to Warstein.

A social tariff agreement was negotiated with employee representatives, with trade unions including the NGG participating in the discussions. Employees are being offered severance packages of up to €150,000, as well as the opportunity to transfer to Warstein, where 50 positions will be retained. In addition, a one-off payment of €3,000 per child has been agreed as part of the social package.
