Description

Thyssenkrupp Automotive Technology, a German automotive technology company, announced 200 job cuts in its development operations in Hungary. At the same time, the management plans to create 60 new jobs in Budapest, in the field of global business support. The restructuring targets engineering and software teams that support electric and autonomous vehicle systems, and is part of a broader strategic repositioning of the company’s global support functions. Management cited shifting customer demands, volatile demand patterns, and persistent cost pressure as the main drivers, while also accelerating digital capabilities in software and electronics integration.

Thyssenkrupp currently employs a total of about 3000 people in Hungary.
